Thermogravimetric Analyzer TGA PT1000|High-Precision Thermogravimetric Analysis
Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) is a technique used to measure weight changes of a sample as a function of temperature or time. It is widely applied in material composition analysis, thermal decomposition behavior, thermal stability, and oxidation studies. TGA is one of the most important and commonly used thermal analysis methods in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, polymer, and composite material industries.
This TGA series adopts a top-loading design with a highly sensitive weighing system and a high-performance furnace. It supports rapid heating and cooling over a wide temperature range from -150°C to 2400°C, providing stable and accurate thermogravimetric results.
TGA System Features
- High-sensitivity measurement: Stable loading design with microgram-level resolution.
- Wide temperature furnace options: From -150°C up to 2400°C (depending on furnace configuration).
- Expandable evolved gas analysis (EGA): Compatible with FTIR, MS, and GC-MS.
- Compliance with international standards: ASTM E914, E1131, E1868, DIN 51006, ISO 7111, ISO 11358.
- Wide material compatibility: Polymers, food, pharmaceuticals, organic materials, composites, and chemical products.
- Heating/Cooling rates up to 0.001–250°C/min: Suitable for both thermal stability and fast analysis.
- DTA signal calculation supported: For auxiliary analysis of endothermic and exothermic effects.
Automation Capabilities
- 42-position autosampler: Enables long-term unattended operation.
- 84-position high-capacity autosampler: Optional for high-throughput testing.
- Automatic gas control (optional MFC): Supports switching of up to four gases.
- Automatic purge and evacuation procedures: Improve repeatability and reduce contamination.
